It's play dough time!

Remember playing with Play-Doh? I do!!! I also remember getting in trouble eating my "cookies" and "cakes". Apparently, it was toxic!!!!

But no worries. We must give our children the same fun we had! I found this recipe on momamiss.com.

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 t. cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 1/2 T vegetable oil
1 packet of Kool-Aid

Directions
1. In a saucepan, whisk together the flour, salt and cream of tartar.

2. Add water and oil to dry mixture and whisk until smooth.

3. Add Kool-Aid and whisk into mixture until blended.

4. Place saucepan over low heat and stir continuously until it forms a ball (it will take about 5 minutes. You know it's ready when it's impossible to stir.)

5. Remove dough from the pan onto a mat. Knead it several times while still warm.

Isn't my hubby a delight for kneading the dough? 😘

6. Enjoy immediately or put in an airtight container for later.
Makes two cups.

It's smells awesome. The grape turns blue; lemonade is a faint yellow; the tropical punch is hot pink and the orange is orange.

I stored the play dough in Talenti gelato containers. (More on that yummy goodness later.) they were the perfect size.

Now I'm off to build dinosaurs with my LO!
