Dumping Can Be Good!!!!!

Dump Cake
Ingredients
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
½ cup butter

Directions
Lightly grease a 13” x 9” pan. Preheat oven to 350˚ (180˚ C).
Pour pie filling into bottom of the pan, and on top of that pour the pineapple. Pour dry cake mix on top of pineapple. Slice butter or margarine over cake mix. DO NOT MIX!
Bake for 45 minutes. This cake is best when served warm with ice cream.

Variations- I prefer to use a low sugar cherry pie filling because the cake above is SWEET!!!


- My brothers and I love experimenting with the cake mixes. German Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry are their favorites.
- Be creative: some people add ½ cup of walnuts or chocolate chips or 1 cup of flaked coconut. Maybe you can add all three!
